The key dates and deadlines for the AKAMAI Finance Academy training program are as follows:
| Student Orientation: | March 27, 2010 |
| Application Deadline: | April 9, 2010 |
| 1st Round Interviews (Phone): | April 10 – April 16, 2010 |
| 2nd & 3rd Round Interview (In person when possible): | April 18, 2010 |
| Candidate Selection & Notifications | April 25, 2010 |
| Application Deadline 2nd Round (If necessary): | June 19, 2010 |
Applicants can request Early Review of their application, but the criteria for admission to the AKAMAI Finance Academy is stricter for all Early Review Candidates.
For those students who are planning on taking the first two semesters of the AKAMAI Finance Academy through Running Start, the following tasks must be completed:
| 1. | Meet with your high school counselor to determine your eligibility for Running Start | As soon as possible |
| 2. | Register to take the COMPASS Test at any UH community college, send the results to Leeward Community College | As soon as possible |
| 3. | Fill out the DOE Running Start enrollment form | School specific – ask your high school counselor for the “batch” date |
| 4. | Fill out the UH System application form and indicate that you are applying to the Leeward Community College campus | School specific – ask your high school counselor for the “batch” date |
| 5. | Take a tuberculosis skin test (results are valid if taken within past 12 months) | School specific – ask your high school counselor for the “batch” date |
| 6. | Submit the DOE Running Start enrollment form and the UH System Application form to your high school counselor | School specific – ask your high school counselor for the “batch” date |
| 7. | Register for Leeward Community College courses (Course numbers TBD) | August 26, 2010 |
| 8. | Attend the Running Start student orientation at your high school | School specific – ask your high school counselor |
